Advanced Packaging Technology to Showcase Flexible Packaging Solutions at Propak Cape 2026.
Based in Cape Town, South Africa, Advanced Packaging Technology (APT) has been supplying flexible packaging and plastics machinery from leading international manufacturers for over 25 years, including BW Converting’s Hudson-Sharp, LMC, Pearl Technologies and LaserPin. Serving customers across Southern Africa, APT also provides OEM spare parts and local technical support for all its principals.
At Propak Cape 2026, APT will be showcasing its machinery and solutions at stand E5. The main highlight of the stand will be LMC’s LM650, which will be running live demonstrations intermittently throughout the show.
The LM650 is a fully electronic machine designed to deliver consistent reliability, versatility and rapid format changes, making it suitable for both food and non-food products in single- or multi-pack configurations. Its cantilever design provides excellent hygiene and accessibility to key components.
The LM650 will also be available for purchase at the show, giving visitors the opportunity to see the machine in operation and discuss whether it is the right solution for their application.
Also on display will be LMC’s LM505, a more compact solution designed to accommodate narrower film while delivering LMC’s technology in a reduced footprint. The LM505 has already been sold to one of APT’s existing customers and will be making its final appearance on the APT stand before heading to its new production facility.
Visitors can also explore APT’s other principals’ technologies and solutions on the stand. Come and chat to our principal representatives or the APT team about BW Converting’s Hudson-Sharp high-performance plastic bag and pouch-making machinery, or LaserPin’s high-performance laser and mechanical systems for flexible packaging and nonwoven converting applications. Pearl Technologies’ ancillary equipment will also be on display, focusing on punching systems and components for high-speed converting and blown-film production lines.
Visitors are invited to meet the APT team and explore the latest packaging machinery and solution at their stand E5 from 27 – 29 October 2026.
