ROTOCON
will return to Propak Cape on stand B2a, presenting its
portfolio of turnkey production solutions that support every stage of label and
flexible packaging printing and finishing. Propak Cape takes place from 27–29
October 2026 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre in Cape Town,
South Africa.
ROTOCON will highlight its RFP
flexographic presses, label finishing and converting equipment, SCREEN’s
Truepress LABEL 350UV SAI digital press series, and Pantec Rhino embossing
technology, which it represents in South Africa. On
the stand will be Patrick
and Pascal Aengenvoort, Executive Directors and Owners of ROTOCON.
ROTOCON’s range of flexographic printing, label
finishing and converting machines comprises scalable, modular platforms that
can be configured to meet changing production requirements. The systems support
consistent quality, fast changeovers and efficient end-to-end workflows, with a
focus on reliability, performance and ease of operation.
For converters producing premium labels, the
combination of print quality and sophisticated finishing can help brands
differentiate their products. The SCREEN Truepress LABEL 350UV SAI series combines
high-quality colour reproduction, white ink and expanded-gamut options with the
flexibility of digital production for short and medium runs, while ROTOCON’s
RDF digital printed label converting and finishing system provides a
complementary platform for taking digitally printed labels through converting
and enhancement.
Available in modular configurations, the RDF can
integrate with digital presses or operate offline, with options including
precise die cutting, hot and cold foil, embossing, silk screen embellishment
and lamination. Pantec’s Rhino embossing technology, also represented by
ROTOCON in South Africa, can be integrated inline on the ROTOCON RDF or RFP
flexo press. The Rhino technology enables tactile and dimensional effects for
labels requiring a higher level of embellishment, including premium wine and
spirits labels.
ROTOCON also provides tooling as part of its broader offering to label
converters in South Africa. Its dedicated tooling division combines local
manufacturing capability with access to international tooling technology,
supporting converters with dependable lead times, consistent die performance
and technical support. High-volume die production capacity enables the division
to accommodate demanding production requirements while maintaining the
flexibility and responsiveness of a local supplier. Through partnerships with
established global tooling specialists such as Wink, ROTOCON also provides
access to advanced die technology for a wide range of label converting
applications.
“As a one-stop partner
for label printers and converters in the narrow-web industry, ROTOCON combines
proven printing, finishing and converting technologies with local sales and
service support,” said the Aengenvoorts. “A key differentiator is the
comprehensive technical support provided throughout the lifecycle. Customers
benefit from hands-on assistance, including troubleshooting, on-site visits,
operator training, tooling assessments and performance reviews.
“Our focus is not
simply on supplying technology, but on building long-term partnerships and
supporting our customers throughout the life of their equipment and tooling. At
Propak Cape, we invite label converters to stop by our stand for a coffee and
an open discussion about their labels, their production requirements and where
they see opportunities to improve. It is an opportunity to talk openly about
what is working, what could work better and how ROTOCON can support them for
the long term.”
